To me, travel is much more about experiences, people and culture. While all those eye-watering pics and envy for people who have traveled to 100 countries have a little room in my world, I am all about taking it slow and actually experiencing it, rather than flitting off from A to B in 10 seconds. Don’t get me wrong. It’s very much possible that someone who travel-hops ( not sure if that’s a real word), has been there and done it. It just doesn’t work that way with me.
In this section, I will be including alternate ways of traveling slow. Ways to slow down, take a breath and actually immerse yourself in to finding yourself. And, by the way, lots of times by following these routes, you can save a bit too. Here, you can read about volunteering experiences with farms, hostels and different organisations, work-exchange programs and many more.
